Install NitroGit - a Git GUI client

Download setup

  1. Download the BETA NitroGit zip file
  2. Unzip to some folder.
  3. Run nitrogit-setup.exe and follow the setup instructions.
  4. File - Open Repository… to open a folder with your git repository checkout.

Portable version

  1. Download the BETA NitroGit zip file
  2. Unzip to some folder.
  3. Run nitrogit.exe
  4. File - Open Repository… to open a folder with your git repository checkout.

Requirements

  1. Windows OS:

    • Windows Vista or newer (Windows 7, 8, 10).
    • Windows Server 2008 or newer (Windows Server 2012, 2016).

  2. .NET Framework:

If you have Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 or a newer OS (Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 etc), the app will just work, because the .NET Framework is preinstalled.

Otherwise install the latest available .NET Framework version for your OS: 4.8.x, 4.7.x, 4.6.x or 4.5.x. .NET Framework 4.5 is the minimal supported version.
